Home-made Pineapple and Banana smoothie

I needed to try another type of smoothie having got to taste banana and mango smoothie. While thinking of the best combination, i thought of Pineapple and banana smoothie.Bananas are favorite food for most people and are good source of vitamins and minerals. Pineapple on the other hand is a source of important vitamins and minerals such as thiamin, riboflavin,vitamin B-6, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, manganese and potassium and antioxidants and polyphenols, such as beta-carotene.
To maximize the nutritional benefits of these two fruits, the two was combined to produce a smoothie.

Pineapple-mango-smoothie

The following ingredients are needed for our Pineapple and banana smoothie:

1/4 fresh pineapple, peeled and cubed
5 ice cubes
1 cup pineapple or apple Juice
A large banana cut into chunks.

Directions

Place the banana, pineapple, cubes and pineapple juice into the blender. Then blend until smooth.
