A new study from HSPH shows that men who skipped breakfast had 27 percent higher risk of heart attack or death from coronary heart disease than those who did eat a morning meal. Another study also shows that eating breakfast was associated with a lower incidence of heart disease in men between age 45 and 82.

Diabetes:

Another study has also shown that not eating breakfast is associated with a 25 percent increased risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Not eating breakfast can also increase a woman’s diabetes risk. A study published on AJCN shows that women who ate breakfast on an average of zero to six times per week have high chances of developing type 2 diabetes than women who ate breakfast everyday.

Eating breakfast comes with lots of health benefits, you should stop skipping it and start taking it on a daily basis.
